Yi ban hai shui, yi ban huo yan aka Ocean Flame (2008)

An arty Chinese film with some hot scene that promptly got it banned in China, even though they are not very explicit.

Given the film's subject and story, comparison to Ang Lee's Lust, Caution is inevitable. Though Ocean Flame isn't anywhere near as good as Ang Lee's masterpiece, it's still is a good film on its own. Art folks are going to praise it, for sure.

This is actress Monica Mok's debut performance and for her sake, as well as for my desire to see her naked again, I hope she doesn't share the same fate as the great but unfortunate Wei Tang. Them Chinese commies ain't got no appreciation for art :)
