Here is something we don't see often: Chilean bewbs. Les Debutantes is a noirish drama about two brothers' descent into the world of violence and perversion. Of all the pretty pussies in all the towns in all the world, they walk into a sexy, manipulative stripper's. Beautiful Gracia (Antonella Ríos) is a textbook example of a femme fatale: she would use her feminine wiles and come-hither sexuality to manipulate the brothers as well as everyone else into helping her achieve her goals.

Not a bad movie. Nice nudity and sex.

Valérie is Quebec's first "nudie" film, in 1968. Valérie runs away from the Catholic orphanage to the bright lights of Montreal, and the film goes on to detail her exploits as a topless dancer and a high-class prostitute before she falls in love and settles down with a Montreal artist. Valérie was made for under $100,000, some of which was provided by the CFDC after Héroux had already started filming. A commercial smash, Valérie went on to huge box offices in both Quebec and France. Because Valérie returns to the Catholic role of the housewife after her indiscretions, this film is often seen as a simple morality tale. However, conservative endings were frequently seen in American exploitation films. Called "square ups," these tacked on endings allowed exhibitors to claim their films were cautionary tales, even though their sole purpose was to portray nudity and implied sex as luridly and commercially as possible. -- Canuxploitation

What can I say, I really like this movie. Mostly because it was filmed in Montreal, where I live. It was great to see familiar landscapes, captured on film at a time when I wasn't yet born, that still look about the same as they do now. The fact that this was the first skin flick made in Quebec, Canada also makes it worthwhile.

Great nudity but very tame sex, which is to be expected.

The Ranch (2004) was originally meant to be a pilot for a new TV show. Inserting quote from Jules Winnfield in Pulp Fiction:

Well, the way they make shows is, they make one show. That show's called a pilot. Then they show that show to the people who make shows, and on the strength of that one show they decide if they're going to make more shows. Some pilots get picked and become television programs. Some don't, become nothing. The Ranch was one of the ones that became nothing.

Well, it didn't really become nothing, because the producers wanted to make some money so they released this pilot as a "movie" on DVD. The result is a sometimes erection-provoking film about some prostitutes working in a brothel. I wish I could tell you more about this film but if I did I would be lying, because...shit, I've got tons of other more interesting movies to waste my time on than this.

From same model, cop also gets ass-shave followed by knife-handle stuck up arse. Bitch'n! Mega bulk twists ensue.

Angel Blade has the look and feel of seedy B-movies from the 80's. It makes me feel nostalgic, which is no small feat, given that I spent the 80's in a third-world country. If sleazy, cheesy fun is your cup of tea, by all means check this out.

Lots of nudity, almost no sex. Amanda Righetti is gorgeous, too bad she was only ever nude in this one movie.

This is a movie about a woman's self discovery through sexual exploration. The plot? Gabriella sees husband fuck another woman. Confronted, husband says it's because Gabriella is a bore in bed. You’ve got to love a movie that starts off with an extreme close up of a vagina. Having intimately explored Susan Featherly’s butcher’s window, we can now get started with an actual storyline. That basically means we get to see Featherly picking flowers in a field as a voiceover tells us about her great boyfriend… then we cut to the great boyfriend tooling another woman. Way to set up a story inside thirty seconds while giving us not one, but two sex scenes. Kurosawa would be proud.

Next we cut to our heroine driving to the big city where she’d get a job as a stripper, stopping along the way to pick up some ‘experience’ by humping a hitchhiker or two. So much for storyline.

You know what’s funny about softcore made-for-TV films? In these films, nobody ever takes a shirt off, they rip it off instead. Now, I don’t know about you, but even if I was gearing up to schtup Christina Ricci after a night of blue balled smooching, if she decided to rip all the buttons off my shirt in the act of getting at my stuff, I’m going to be pissed. I mean, hell, it takes a lot of messing about to sew a button on a shirt. I don’t know about you, but my shirts are nice – I can’t have the bitches just ripping my shit up because they’re eager to get to ‘Simba’.

If there’s one thing that sets this flick apart from all others of its ilk, it’s that the director is obsessed with his female starlets’ landing strips. I mean, there’s a LOT of borderline hardcore shots in this flick and plenty of nakedness from many different people. It ain’t no American Beauty, but it could well be an American Booty, if you follow what I’m saying.

So anyways, Featherly gets naked, Featherly humps a lot, the acting sucks, the writing stinks, the budget equals about sixteen bucks. You do the math.

You know, the reviewer made an interesting point about shirt ripping. There are always valuable lessons to be learned from horror and softcore flicks. Today's lesson is: don't wear a shirt if you think you're about to score some pussy. Myself, I wear T-shirt all the time. They are much easier to take off if need arises.

Anyway, while The Awakening of Gabriella is not the best softcore movie ever made it still has tons of good shots of all the right body parts, a guarantee to keep you wide wake, no matter what time of the day.
