Nude Scene Guide from Mr.Skin

Jack Ketchum's The Lost was one of the most disturbing horror novels I have ever read. I love it because it was one of the best in the genre. I also freaking hate it because it, well, disturbed me. Anyway, here is the movie adaptation of the book, which I won't watch due to it being directed by Chris Sivertson, the guy who was guilty for I know who killed me (2007). Anyway, I gotta get back to the party so here is some excerpts from the review at Cinefantastique Online:

THE LOST – a low-budget independent film that has been figuratively lost in distribution limbo since its completion in 2005 – finally finds its way into the Laemmle’s Sunset 5 Theatre in West Hollywood, California, for a one-week run starting today. Based on a book by Jack Ketchum, who is listed as one of the executive producers, this blood-stained, melodramatic thrill-killer thriller is a character study of a hot-headed loser who gets away with murder in the prologue, then goes about his life for the next two hours of screen time, before erupting into a homicidal rampage for the final act. That’s an awful lot of down time, but gore-hungry viewers may find their patience rewarded and their thirst slaked when the blood finally starts to flow. Fans looking for a decent thriller or a frightening fear flick had best look elsewhere.

The film goes out of its way to characterize Ray as a little punk who wants to be bigger than he is, informing us (via a subtitle at the beginning) that he puts crushed beer cans in his shoes to make himself look taller. As if this were not enough, a later scene underlines Ray’s essential wimpiness when he converses with a convicted felon at a drug party. The cold, dead eyes and killer stare of the real hardened criminal exposes Ray as a mere poser who’s only threatening with a gun in his hand, and when he gets around to using it, you have to wonder why none of the characters simply kicks him in the balls and bitch-slaps him into a crying, little whiny ball of jello.

The movie does get under your skin (“disturbing” was the word heard on the way out of the screening at the 2006 Screamfest festival), but the most disturbing thing about it is that it plays like a sick loser’s psycho power-trip fantasy: although Ray’s an obvious creep, beautiful women find him attractive, and the film can’t get enough of showing them take off their clothes for him.

After Ashley Judd went bugshit in Bug, now it is Maria Bello's turn to play a mentally unstable woman. Nutty pussies in movies seem to be trendy lately.
Nancy was abused as a child. Naturally she grew up to be a self-hating pain slut who likes to cut herself for fun.
She is married to a decent guy, which makes her very angry. So she goes online, masturbates some, meets a guy, asks him to kill her.
They meet, but instead of ending her miserable self-loathing existence, the guy has rough sex with her, burns her with a cigarette while taking her from behind, and generally treats
her like shit. For the first time in her life, Nancy is happy. And so it comes to pass that those two sickos fall in love with each other. To live happily ever after they won't.

Little nudity but lots of sexiness. Maria Bello's breasts may be economic-sized but she's got more arousing power than any naked big-boobed chick in B-movie trash.

Sexiness aside, Downloading Nancy is not good enough a movie to warrant a download. Unless, like me, you've got time to waste.

Ever since Sound of the Sea, Leonor Watling has become a name that gets my love juices flowing. You probably never heard of a woman being described as "comatosely beautiful" before, but that exactly is what Leonor Watling is in this humane, heart-wrenching, thought-provoking and occasionally cock-rising tale of two men caring for their loved ones who are in a coma. Hable con ella aka Talk to Her (2002) won an Oscar for Best Screenplay, and multiple other awards. It is also, I believe, the first movie to illustrate total, absolute, full vaginal penetration. Highly recommended. Warning: there is no torture, gore, car chases, explosions and toilet jokes in this movie.

Surely a contender for most ironic title of the year, Pleasant Days is anything but. Fresh out of the clink, young Peter (Tamás Polgár) finds his sister with a new-born surrogate child. The real mother, Maya (Orsi Tóth), is having an affair with Peter's boss and the web of tangled relationships grows tighter still when Peter starts to fall for Maya - much to his sister's dismay. From there, it's downhill as everyone becomes mired in each other's crushing misery.


Peter takes delight in being a voyeur (he watches Maya give birth and spies on her doing the dirty with the boss), and uses the information he gleans to manipulate those around him. That said, Maya and the rest also have a knack for getting their own way but the flip side is the destructive and often violent relationships to which they succumb. As a result, it's hard to raise a flicker of sympathy for any of these unfortunates.


"UTTERLY LACKING IN HEART AND HOPE"


The minimalist script doesn't give the cast much to work with although both Tóth and Polgár are very good at standing around pouting, which they do a lot. Mind you, it's beautifully shot in a Levi's commercial kind of way and director Kornél Mundruczó uses the bleak urban landscape to impressive effect. But for a film to be so utterly lacking in heart and hope makes it very hard going. No one said life was perfect but Mundruczó paints it like a spell on Death Row with no hope of reprieve. -- BBC review

I haven't seen this movie and judging by the above review, I won't be watching it any soon. Too depressing for my tastes. I already know life can be a bitch sometimes, so I have no need to watch movies about people who have a perverted tendency to get into deep shit. I got shit of my own, thank you very much.

What is worth watching is the nudity. It's not like I see Hungarian babes nude on-screen every day. There are boobs and bush on display, just don't expect any graphic sex. The story may not cheer you up but the nudity sure is pleasant, except for a rape scene at the end.

Whenever someone mentions the words "indie horror", I shudder. Too many of those low-budgeted, independent flicks are nothing but pretentious piles of craps, made by people who have a lot of enthusiasm but are seriously lacking in talent. But every once in awhile, something turns up that wows everyone by its originality and inventiveness and makes you believe in the indie scene again. Gutterballs is not it. The acting is bad and the script is boring in its banality. The story is about a bunch of extremely annoying people who get killed by a sicko in a bowling alley. Those people are so irritating you can't help but cheer when they finally meet their demise in bloody, gruesome ways. And that is where Gutterballs shines. The filmmakers have wisely decided to go all the way in the tits and gore departments.

Gutterballs delivers lots of boobage. Plus, there is a very long and brutal rape scene that is tough to watch. Also a brief fellatio scene which may or may not be real.

Ever heard of Cock-death before? It's when someone chokes to death on a penis, usually during sexual intercourse. Well, you get to see it in the movie. That's something, I guess.

Anyway, I think Gutterballs may be perfect for a weekend viewing, with friends and lots of beers.

Kudos to the Spanish filmmakers, they are really spoiling us. With Las películas de mi padre (2007), we lucky viewers are yet again treated to some amazingly sensual imagery of young, alluring women in their birthday suit.

If you haven't had enough of Ariadna Cabrol in Eloïse (2009), here is your chance to drool over her succulent bottle rockets once more. Add to that the scrumptious gunzagas of Karme Málaga and we got ourselves a heavenly double treat.

Great nudity and lascivious sapphic erotica aside, this also looks to be an interesting movie. So check it out, who knows you may even like it.
