Writer/director Ryan Nicholson cut his special effects teeth on a multitude of genre films including Final Destination and a Scary Movie ; his latest film utilizes heavy prosthetic and practical effects to the max. When asked about making Hanger, Nicholson says, “It is beyond anything I’ve done to date in the sense of brutality dark content. It doesn’t raise the bar.
