Are you self-hating and suicidally-inclined? Need inspirations for ways to off your miserable self? You may want to watch La Grande Bouffe (1973). It's a comedy/drama about four men who gather for a big weekend of feasting and whoring. Their ultimate goal: eating themselves to death, literally. Apparently, this art house flick stirred controversy when it premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 1973. But that was back then. Nowadays, if I was to show this film to my 12-year-old cousin, he would just shrug and say "What is the deal?". Kids these days. When I was 12, there was no porn, no computer so I usually jerked-off while watching my aunt taking a shower. Those were the days, my friend.
