Obviously, The Band wants to be another 9 songs but it fails miserably, in terms of story and sex . It's just borderline softcore porn thinly disguised as a movie about rock bands. OK simulated sex and tons of T&A.

If the movie was meant to be a critique of the rock 'n' roll milieu where male rock singers are debauched dudes who do drugs and fuck anything that moves, well, we have all seen that about a million times before. Was it a love story? Let's see: chick gets dumped by boyfriend. Chick finds success as a rock star but is unhappy 'cause chick needs true love. Chick finally finds soul mate in the lesbian manager. End of the story. How freaking original. In between, we see lots of fucking and singing.

Recommended, but only for the abundance of sex and nudity.

So I did some frame-by-frame examination and sure enough, the fellatio scene was special effect :) Use VirtualDub Mod, advance the scene frame by frame and you'll see.
