First time I saw actress Jane Birkin was in Kung-fu master!(1988), and I only caught that movie on cable because I thought it was a kung-fu movie :D

Jane Birkin is one of the greatest English actresses ever but I guess most people will remember her for her role in the erotic drama Je t'aime moi non plus in which she got naked a lot and even managed to get a gay man into her pants, impressive feat for someone not generously equipped (or maybe it's her boyish features that got the guy hooked).

Also famous is the titular song, which was written by director Serge Gainsbourg and sung by Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin. The song is an dialogue between two lovers during sex.

The explicit eroticism of the song was declared offensive at the time of its release. The lyrics are commonly thought to refer to the taboo theme of engaging in sex without love, and were delivered in a breathy, suggestive style.

The song culminates in simulated orgasm sounds by Birkin: mostly because of this, it was banned from radio play in Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and the UK, and denounced by the Vatican in a public statement.
